Mt. Pisgah Recreation Area
Mt. Pisgah is an all season, family friendly mountain that's owned and operated by the Village of Saranac Lake with support from the Friends of Mt Pisgah.
In the summer, this small mountain has a 5-mile trail network for mountain bikers and other non-motorized uses. Among those trails is the region's only machine-built flow trail! Hike or ride to the top and be sure to take a minute to enjoy the outstanding view.
In the winter, Pisgah becomes a classic small-town Adirondack ski and snowboard hill. The mountain’s four trails - three green circles and one blue square - are all served by a single T-bar lift. The easy trails here are perfect for beginners of all ages to perfect their turns. Pisgah also has a tubing hill, snowshoeing trails, and a large base lodge for warming those fingers and toes. Keep an eye out for night skiing and tubing!
BETA, the Barkeater Trails Alliance, keeps updated trail maps for any biking you may want to do in the area. Check out the flow trails on Mt. Pisgah here.
